FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE

Jun 21, 2026 | 04:00 PM

As is tradition on the day of the summer solstice, the FÊTE DE LA MUSIQUE takes place throughout the city. The IBZ is once again participating with an open-air stage, and we’re presenting three acts from the genres of chanson, tango, and folk. Kicking things off are our old friends Amandine Thiriet and Joyce, aka MANDEL OF JOY. Look forward to original chansons penned by Amandine, timelessly beautiful and performed with great charm. Next up is the duo ANA-JOSEFINA NICKELÉ + FEDERICO D'ATTELLIS. Federico’s virtuoso guitar playing and Ana’s clear and soulful voice already wowed us back in January at the IBZ hall—reason enough for us to invite them back right away. In addition to tango and tango nuevo, the two also frequently venture into the rich repertoire of Latin American folklore. To wrap up the Fête, Irishman JOE WARD will transport us to the Emerald Isle with his guitar, harmonica, and, above all, his distinctive raspy voice, while also treating us to a few pop classics with a folk twist. There will also be drinks and snacks from Fischtaxi Berlin and a bubble show with PETER PAT for our younger guests.
