Bandoneonist Daniel Pacitti and singer Claudia Renner take you on a musical journey through the night: LES PASSANTS tell stories of love, loss, longing, and new beginnings. French chansons, German Lieder, English songs, and tango come together in fresh, intimate arrangements.

The focus is on the characters who speak in the songs: the woman waiting in the café, the lover on the train platform, the traveler without a home, the voice in the dim light of a bar. Music by Édith Piaf, Friedrich Hollaender, Kurt Weill, George Gershwin, and many others comes together to create a poetic evening, a multilingual soundscape between melancholy and swing.
