IBZ international association 2017

At their annual meeting in Potsdam on September 17, 2010, the leading International Meeting Centers for Science (IBZ) and various university-related guest houses in Germany decided to found a joint association.

The most important goal of this nationwide operating association is to secure the continuation of this successful project originally founded in the 1950s even in times of tight public budgets and to strengthen the unique IBZ brand. In order to appear united in the future, to strengthen the public image and to make the offer transparent for foreign scientists, the IBZ and guest houses want to strengthen their profile through the network and draw more attention to their unique offers.

When the association was founded, the joint site www.ibz-deutschland.de went live. Scientists from all over the world can find out more about the facilities and their real estate on that site.

Since January 2017, the IBZ Berlin is again home of the network's contact office.
