DESCRIPTION: The KISSI CHOIR\, conducted by Anita Rennert\, invites you to 
 its traditional concert in the hall of the International Meeting Centre on 
 the Monday after the third Sunday in Advent.   The KISSI CHOIR was founded 
 in 1991 and has been an integral part of Berlin's musical life ever since. 
 The choir is part of the City-West Music School and performs regularly in B
 erlin and the surrounding area\, as well as in other European cities – most
  recently even in St Mark's Basilica in Venice and in the Church of Santa M
 aria de la Pietà.   Under the motto ‘From Renaissance to Pop’\, the audienc
 e can expect a varied and inspiring programme ranging from solemn choral mu
 sic to Christmas carols. The programme includes works by Hans Leo Hassler\,
  Amy Beach\, Urmas Sisask\, Morten Lauridsen\, Maurice Duruflé and Max Bruc
 h.   The programme is complemented by traditional Christmas carols from Ger
 many\, Austria\, Spain\, England and Croatia\, Christmas canons and well-kn
 own melodies such as ‘Jingle Bells’\, which bring the Advent evening to a f
 estive and lively close.
