DESCRIPTION: In this talk\, art historian and curator  JULIA VOSS  will tak
 e you behind the scenes of the ongoing exhibition "Nature and German Histor
 y: Faith – Biology – Power" at the German Historical Museum. The exhibition
  explores 800 years of German history through selected case studies\, exami
 ning the evolving meaning and significance of nature in historical contexts
 . Particular emphasis was placed on the sustainable design of the exhibitio
 n. The aim was not only to reflect on the sustainable use of natural resour
 ces historically\, but also to put it into practice. What factors play a ro
 le in exhibiting sustainability? What challenges exist? These questions wil
 l at the center of Dr. Voss's presentation and discussion with the audience
 .  The event is being held in cooperation with Dartmouth College and will b
 e partly in English.
